6.6.1 OneStream - Introduction
Report Authority can import data from a OneStream application. This is achieved through OneStream's REST API.
OneStream REST API requirements
Officially supported
OneStream's REST API currently officially supports cloud-based authentication services, in particular:
- AzureAD
- Okta or
- PingFederate
These OneStream support articles assume a 3rd party authentication service.
Unofficially supported
For purely on-premise installations of OneStream, The OneStream REST API could use authentication methods that are based on O-Auth 2.0 but are not currently supported by OneSTream. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to connect via SAML 2.0. In this case, it is worth exploring Report Authority's SQL adaptor.

In order for Report Authority to connect to a downstream application, the following dashboard needs to be installed into each OneStream application.
