10.6.1 OneStream - Introduction

Report Authority can import data from a OneStream application.  This is achieved through OneStream's REST API.

OneStream REST API requirements

Officially supported

OneStream's REST API currently officially supports cloud-based authentication services, in particular:

1. AzureAD
2. Okta or 
3. PingFederate

These OneStream support articles assume a 3rd party authentication service.

Unofficially supported

For purely on-premise installations of OneStream, The OneStream REST API could use authentication methods that are based on O-Auth 2.0 but are not currently supported by OneSTream.    Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to connect via SAML 2.0.

In order for Report Authority to connect to a downstream application, the following dashboard needs to be installed into each OneStream application.
