Inviting other users to collaborate within an organisation

When a new organisation is created - it is only the account owner that will have access to it.  The account owner can invite other users to share responsibilities within the organisation by clicking the Share organisation option in the main menu:

Inviting users to collaborate

To invite another user, click the Invite User button:

Role: Ether Delegate or Administrator.  Please see XXXXX this article for more information on user roles.

Segregation of Duties:  This control will only appear if on the Gold subscription tier and the service setting Segregation of Duties is enabled.  Here you can assign a user to be either a Preparer or a Reviewer.

User Groups: This control will only appear if on the Gold subscription tier.  Here you can assign the new user to one or more existing user groups.  You can also assign users to user groups in the User groups option in the main menu.  See XXXXXX.

Points to note:

  • You can only invite as many users to the organisation as your current subscription allows.
  • Both account owners and administrators can invite users to share an organisation.
  • If the email address provided is of an existing user account on the service, they will automatically be added to the organisation without them needing to register.
  • If the email address provided is not of an existing user account on the service, they will receive an email with a link to follow in order to register for the service.  In this case, they will be creating a user account only and will not have to register a new organisation (in contrast to if they had chosen to register for the service without an invite).

Removing users from an organisation

To remove a user, select the user and click the Remove button:

Leaving a shared organisation

An admin or delegate user can remove themself from an organisation by logging in, selecting the organisation they wish to leave and choosing the Leave shared organisation option from the main menu:

Changing a user role

The account owner or administrator can change the role of existing users by clicking on the user and clicking the Change Role button:

The following form will appear:

The Segregation of Duties control will only appear if on the Gold subscription tier and the service setting Segregation of Duties is enabled.
