Reporting Modules

Overview

This will be the service's home page if Practice Management is disabled, or the client's home page if Practice Management is enabled.

The service contains many national and supernational reporting modules that are grouped into Taxonomy Packages. Each taxonomy package must be licensed by the organisation in order to use them.  Only account owners or administrators can make changes to the list of reporting modules to be used by the organisation (or client if Practice Management is enabled).

Access

For organisations on the Gold subscription tier, access to reporting modules can be restricted.  This restriction applies only to users that have a Delegate role. Admin users will have full access to all Reporting modules.

A delegate with access to the client will see all Reporting Modules listed - even if they do not have access.  Not having access will prevent the delegate from opening the reporting module.

Adding a reporting module

To add a reporting module, an admin user can click the + button on the top right as indicated above.  The following form will appear:

The list will by default display all reporting modules available on the service whether licensed or not.  You can filter the list for only the licensed reporting modules using the filter icon on the top right.

Frequency: Set the frequency of the reporting to one of Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Annually or Annually

Reference Date Determination: Choose from Calendar Based (if for example, Q1 is always 31 March - e.g. EBA CRD IV reporting) or Reporting Entity's Financial Year End (if Q1 depends on the entity's year-end - e.g. EIOPA Solvency II QRTs).

User Groups:  (Only visible if subscribed to the Gold tier) By default the system user group All Users will be assigned. To limit access to a particular user group, remove this default and select from one of the existing user groups.

Users: (Only visible if subscribed to the Gold tier) You can grant access to individual users. Please note that access will be granted to users who are either directly assigned OR are members of an assigned user group.

Editing or deleting a reporting module

To edit or delete a reporting module, an admin user must click the relevant action button next to the reporting module.  Please note:

  • If a reporting module is deleted, all that reporting module's data including all periods and reports will be deleted. This cannot be undone.
  • You cannot edit the frequency of an existing reporting module if periods have already been created.

Opening a reporting module

To open a reporting module, either click on the Open action button or double-click on the reporting module's name.  Delegates who are not assigned to a reporting module will see the reporting module listed, but will not be able to open it.
