Exporting to ESEF format
Once the document has been validated and all blocking errors have been cleared, the annual financial statements can be exported to ESEF format.
ESEF format is a zip file that contains the following:
- Your annual financial statements in xHTML format.
- Inside the xHTML file, the XBRL tags surrounding the tagged facts (inline XBRL or iXBRL).
- Your extended taxonomy which references the core ESEF taxonomy.
Exporting to ESEF format
To export to ESEF format, click File -> Export -> European Single Electronic Format (ESEF)
