5.2 Supplemental Data Quality Checks

Overview

The primary source of all validation rules evaluated by DPM Authority is sourced from the XBRL taxonomy.  Sometimes, however, additional data quality checks may be published by a regulator in Excel format which are not included in the taxonomy.

These supplemental rules are disabled by default - but can be activated in File - Options - Supplemental Data Quality Checks:

Once enabled, DPM Authority will validate these additional rules as well as the taxonomy rules when the document is validated.
