Segregation of duties functionality is only available to subscribers of the Gold tier, and is enabled with the setting of "Segregation of Duties" set to 'ENABLE':With Segregation of Duties enabled, a user's ability to interact with a template will depend on their role and template status as follows:

1. Initialised (Preparer)
2. In Progress (Preparer)
3. In Review (Reviewer)
4. Complete (Reviewer)

A Preparer can change a template's status to any of the following:

Once it is changed to 'In Review', it will become locked for editing for any Preparer.  A Preparer cannot change the status of a template which has the status of 'In Review' or 'Complete':

if any changes need to be made, a Reviewer will need to pass it back to a preparer by changing the status back to 'in Progress'.  These are a Reviewer's options for changing the template status:

A Reviewer cannot change the status of a template which has the status of 'Initialised' or 'In Progress':
