1.5 Using the Licence Self-Help Portal

The Licence Self-Help portal can be used to:

• Activate a licence
• Deactivate a licence (if you wish to transfer the licence to a different computer)
• Get Licence Information
• Email licence keys

It can be accessed at this address, or by clicking on the Licence Self-Help portal button in File - Licence:

Activating a licence

This is described in detail in this article.

Deactivating a licence

A licence can be deactivated from a particular computer if you wish to transfer it to a different computer.  Once deactivated - the activation code can be used to activate the software on a different computer - see Activating a licence.

To deactivate a licence, enter the activation key - and if it has been used to activate multiple computers - the Computer ID. If you are unsure on which computers the licence has been activated, you can click the Get Licence Information menu item to see which computers the licence key is bound to:

Please note, if a licence is deactivated from a particular computer but the software is re-launched from that computer - it will automatically reactivate itself.

Email Licence Keys

If the activation key is unknown, click the Email Licence Keys option and enter the email address that was registered as the primary email address - all activation keys associated with that email address will be automatically emailed.  Alternatively, contact support for assistance.
