1.5 Installing XML Authority

XML Authority is provided as a MSI (Microsoft Installer) file which needs to be run by someone with administrator rights on the machine.

The MSI should be double-clicked, and the Next button clicked a few times.

Prerequisites

XML Authority has a prerequisite of the Microsoft .Net framework version 4.8 or later. This should be automatically installed on all modern versions of Windows. In the unlikely event that you do not meet he prerequisite, you can download and install the most recent version of the framework at this location.
