Page Layout Options in Report Authority Professional

The Page Layout tab in Report Authority Professional provides a range of formatting tools to help customise your report's appearance and structure.

Page Setup Section

This section includes essential layout options such as:

  • Margins – Choose from standard margin presets or select Custom Margins...

to open the Page Setup dialog, where you can manually configure:

    • Top, bottom, left, right margins, and gutter
    • Multiple pages: Normal or Mirror Margins (for double-sided printing)
    • Header and footer margins
  • Orientation – Set the page layout to Portrait (vertical) or Landscape (horizontal), depending on content width and presentation needs
  • Paper Size – Choose from standard page sizes (e.g. A4, Letter) to match your print/export requirements
  • Columns – Split page content into two or more vertical sections
  • Breaks – Insert page, section, or column breaks to manage content flow and pagination
  • Line Numbers – Enable and configure line numbering for better referencing and document navigation

Page Background Section

This section allows for customising the visual style of your report:

  • Page Colour – Apply a background colour to enhance the document's appearance on-screen or in print
  • Watermark – Insert or remove custom watermarks for branding, confidentiality, or draft labelling

Together, these tools give you full control over the layout and visual structure of your report—ensuring consistency and professionalism across reports and printed outputs.
