Review of Tagging - Validations

When a report is validated using the Validation panel, Report Authority will;

• validate that the document will pass any rules contained in the XBRL taxonomy; and
• validate any custom validation rules that are programmed in the Rules panel (addressed in a separate article). 

Both of these validation types are performed in a single unified process.

To run the validations, activate the Validation panel and click the "Entire Report" button. The results can be grouped by any of the columns or filtered (See video below).
