Validating the document and clearing any blocking errors
The last step before exporting your document to ESEF format is to validate it. This is done by activating the Validations panel and clicking Validate.
There are two types of validation failures:
- Blocking
- Non-blocking
Blocking errors must be cleared because they will prevent your document from being accepted by the regulator. Non-blocking errors should be treated as a warning and considered. However, if the warning is not applicable, you can continue to the next step and create your document in ESEF format for submission.
